Lost Admiral Returns

Player's Manual - Flagship Menu

Battleships are lots of fun in Lost Admiral Returns. Unlike most Battleship Games, you can maneuver these massive killing machines to dominate the battle ocean. You can also enjoy the flavor of famous wwii battleship combat with your choice of famous ships such as the Yamato battleship, Battleship New Jersey, Battleship Texas, Battleship Missouri, or any other battleship that comes to mind.

Flagship Menu:

This menu is used to create, customize, and track your flagships during battles.

Use your Perk and Clout points, along with any special Modules you have earned from previous battles to create new flagships.  Choose a Carrier or Battleship as the core ship type, and then give it extra damage points, and various special abilities by using the modules.

Flagships come in different levels of power based on their experience level.  For any given battle the first Flagship you purchase will be the weakest in ability.  Each additional Flagship you purchase will be larger and more powerful.

Here is a chart of the maximum size bonus and the number of modules that can be carried by a given level Flagship:

Flagship Level: Max size bonus: Max Modules:
0 0 1
1 1 1
2 2 1
3 3 2
4 4 2
5 5 2
6 6 3
7 7 3
8 8 3
9 9 4
10 10 4
11 11 4
12 12 5

Note that CV Flagships start at size 10, and BB Flagships start at size 15 BEFORE adding any max size bonuses.  And also note that "Fast Move" type modules will reduce the effective size of a flagship from it's size bonus.

The first Flagship you purchase for a battle will cost 6 perk points.  The second will cost 12, then 18 for the third, etc.  Note that the "level" of each flagship will be stronger and stronger based on it's cost.

You will have to spend additional Perk Points to actually use the maximum size and abilities of a given Flagship.  Each size increase will cost 1 Perk point, and each module added will cost 2 Perk Points.

The resulting command fleet of flagships you create will have a value in Perk and Clout points assigned to it for this battle.  At the end of the battle, Command Central will actually reward ("recycle") you with a percent of this Perk and Clout value based on how well you performed in the battle.  Increase this percent by:

  • challenging higher AI levels
  • keeping your flagships modestly healthy
  • destroying as much of the enemy fleet as possible
  • win the battle if you can (losing a battle recycles less total %).

Refer to the Help and Advice screens in the game by clicking on the "Hlp" and "Adv" buttons while in the Flagship Menu in the game to learn more.

You can also learn more about the different flagship abilities and modules that can be gained.
